There are so many things that we take for granted. Life, love, family, friendships. We live our lives as if our days are endless but the reality is, we are all on borrowed time. It can be altered or ended in the blink of an eye. What we are blessed with is this moment, our faith and opportunities. We have the chance to give, to love, to wrong a right, to apologize, to try or try again, to express feelings we’ve kept under wraps, to close chapters or start new ones. We let the past dictate our present and limit our hopes and desires for the future. The point is, don’t waste anyone’s time including your own. Don’t risk missing out on the chance to say I love you, I miss you, I want you, I need you, I need help, I’m sorry, I forgive you, I support you, I believe in you. The peace we seek may lie in the mere expression of any of those previous phrases. So much energy is devoted to the wrong things, people or ideas…. Don’t avoid or discredit the possiblity of committing that energy to something right or righteous. This day could be your last. This chance could be your last. Time, the time you may or may not have left, use it wisely. You may not be in the position to do “it” again. For what it’s worth.
